Veronica Obregon
Dr. Verónica Obregón is a mental health expert with over 24 years of experience. She is a licensed clinical social worker who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the USC Dworack-Peck School of Social Work and her Doctorate Degree in Education with an Educational Psychology concentration from the USC Rossier School of Education. Dr. Obregón began her career at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and has since worked as a psychiatric social worker at the Los Angeles Unified School District-School Mental Health Program. As a mental health consultant, she has provided crisis intervention, trained university interns, and worked with district staff to engage parents in their child’s education. Dr. Obregón also shares her expertise as an adjunct faculty at the California State University Los Angeles School of Social Work.
Born in Mexico City and raised in East Los Angeles, Dr. Obregón is committed to working towards a just and well-organized society. Her private practice, OBREGON PES., offers mental health services to those who work with children and families, including teachers, other counselors, professional women, and first responders such as police and firefighters.
